Anthony Bouchier

Anthony has more than 30 years’ experience in building enterprises in international television and media and recently has focused on digital education through the delivery of teaching materials to schools. He started his career with IMG and has developed content seen in more than 100 countries.  In 2003 he created Wisden Online which in 2004 (with backing from the Getty family) purchased Cricinfo, that grew to be one of the world’s most popular sports websites.  Anthony and his partner sold their business (Quintus) to IMG in 2007 and in the same year Wisden Cricinfo was bought by Disney (ESPN).

In education, Anthony founded Twig World Limited in 2009, a digital education company that works closely with the BBC and Imperial College London, distributing content to more than 3,000 schools in the UK and a further 200,000 schools across 70 countries in 19 languages.   After serving as CEO for 7 years, Anthony stood down in 2016, selling the majority of his interest to DC Thomson and Imperial College London.
